Managing My Finances: Save Time and Reduce Worry

If you are a new reader, please read my monthly online income reports where I show you how I earn more than 30,000 months a month while traveling.

Between managing retirement, paying bills, managing credit cards, saving for desired life tasks, and much more, managing your financial life can become difficult.

That’s why I often look for ways to simplify the management of my financial life, because dealing with everything can sometimes feel so hectic and stressful.

Making everything simpler and simpler means that I have more time to devote to other areas of my life, and I can worry less about what I might forget.

That’s why I’m creating this article. I believe that if you can also learn to manage your finances effectively, you can save a lot of time, have less stress and focus on the things you really want in life.

Managing your finances doesn’t have to be difficult, and I want to show that to everyone. Too many people give up and let their finances get out of hand when it really doesn’t have to be that hard.

This is how I manage my finances simply to save time and worry less.

I automate payments.

You can automate many things in your life. You can have your paychecks deposited directly, you can pay your bills automatically, you can even pay your credit card payment automatically every month.

Even if I check all transactions and expenses, I still automate all my actual payments, so I don’t have to worry if something has been overlooked. Most of my monthly expenses are similar from month to month, so I can usually just check the payment to see if everything is correct or not.

I have a bank account.

Okay, technically, we have two-a checking account in our credit union and a savings account there too. I couldn’t imagine having more than that, be it separate accounts for different savings goals or if we had accounts at completely different banks.

Before you think ” ” do most people only have a checking account and a savings account?

That’s untrue. I personally know some people who have several open accounts. It seems to me that it is pointless work, but I understand that there are a lot of reasons for this.

I record registrations and credit card rewards.

I have several credit cards so I can earn credit card rewards. In the last three months, we have signed up for five reward credit cards (yes, FIVE!) and have earned a decent amount of free holidays and free cashback.

However, it becomes stressful to think about all this. Any normal person would feel stressed managing so many credit cards on top of the ones we already have. For this reason, I have a detailed credit card system that I can use when I have reached the spending level so that I can earn the full sign-up bonus reward and when I am charged the annual fee of a credit card. Sounds difficult, but it really isn’t, since I’ve only set reminders that remind me automatically.
